 Mr. Tambourine man
07/22/2002 10:24:10.659381 PDT
Special thanks to Sean and Ryan from Kingstreet Crossing for joining us on stage at the Hotel Utah. Also thanks go out to Danielle Morassi for helping out with merchandise at the show. If you missed the show, Joe's rig blew up due to falty wiring and he played the 2nd part of the show armed only with a tambourine. Joe sends his apologies for the lack of rhythm and promises to take tambourine lessons before the next show

What's the band up to?
03/27/2002 11:24:02 PST
With Mario and Ed gone to the East Coast, many of you have asked what’s next for Second Set? We are slowing down our dates a little to make time for writing new material and personal travel. Dave from Funky Buelah has been playing lead guitar with us since October and we are spoiled with several amazing drummers who have sat in with Second Set over the last few months. We plan to continue playing SF dates throughout the Spring and Summer 2002. Stay tuned for more shows and new tunes. As always, comments are welcome in our discussion section.

 Mario's back for two shows!
03/10/2002 11:57:42 PST
Mario's taking a few days to visit from Florida. While he's here, he'll kick that phat backbeat on the drums on Thursday 3/14 at the Red Devil and Saturday 3/16 at the Utah. Peep this groove out!

Good bye Eddy!
01/22/2002 18:49:14 PST
This Wednesday is Ed's final show with Second Set. Not to be missed! The band is still going strong, auditioning drummers and writing new music. Keep an eye on this space for updates.

 Good bye Mario

Two shows this weekend...
12/03/2001 10:03:40 PST
Allright Everybody, this coming weekend is going go off! We will start the weekend off by opening up for our friend's Luce at the Last Day Saloon, 12/7, then on Saturday 12/8 we will tear the roof off the Hotel Utah as we celebrate Mario's last show with Second Set. After two and a half years and over 60 shows we will say goodbye to our fantastic and spastic drummer. We thank him for his amazing playing and his countless hours of work designing, building, and maintaining this website. You are all invited to an after party immediately following the show. Location and details will be given out at the show. Ron Jeremy Explosion will open the show for us.

Let this message ring clear in the ears of those who would destroy us: that we will not tolerate their cowardly acts; that the fans of this great band will join together in unity to meet any challenge; and that united, there is no force that can stop us!
